Olympia WA Tattoo Artist, Oil Painter & Gem Seller

I believe that making something is an act of excavation. The image, the line, the mark pressed into skin: these are not invented so much as surfaced, drawn up from strata that conscious thought never quite reaches. That subterranean material is not peripheral to a human life. It is the structural layer beneath it, quietly determining the shape of everything above.

Surreal Dark Art Rooted in Olympia, Washington

From the luminous gravity of the early Renaissance to the post-apocalyptic timelessness of the Northern figurative tradition, my work draws across lineages without belonging to any one of them. It explores contrasts. dark yet illuminating, classical yet unruly, rooted yet restless. These are the dichotomies that quietly shape a beautiful and difficult world. The tumult is my canvas.

My work as an oil painter and tattoo artist here in Olympia, Washington moves between classical discipline and rigorous experimentation. It's a tension I've learned to inhabit, driven by an enduring dedication to the surreal, the dark, the unexplored. This is a commitment to my own eccentricity, to the specific frequency at which I see and hear. The technical foundation exists to disappear into something more free.

Handcrafted Gemstone Jewelry & Black Spinel

The same philosophy extends to gems. I have the exquisite privilege of working with some of the finest artisans in the world. Across the world, I partner with Indian Artisans and Rajput Royals as their ambassador to the US. For seven generations, these families have passed down the knowledge of jewelcrafting, techniques refined across centuries that prioritize durability over speed, integrity over volume.

Royal Karkhana and I share similar missions. "[RK] strive[s] to illuminate the intricate narratives woven into each handcrafted masterpiece... [and] harmonize sacred traditions and methodology with contemporary aesthetics, presenting timeless elegance for you, the discerning connoisseur."

The beauty of art is in the expression, less the medium, although I interleave core themes through each discipline. Perhaps obvious, then, is the reason why I chose to ambassador black spinel here in the PNW. Black as ink, yet fully translucent, black spinel is pure magic.
